Benefits
- Skin tags, cherry angiomas and milia
- Warts, age spots and small raised blemishes
- No scalpel, no stitches — precise plasma only
- Quick sessions with minimal downtime
- Free consultation and patch assessment first
What to expect
- A free consultation first: the lesion is assessed and photographed, and anything suspicious is referred to your GP rather than treated.
- Numbing cream is applied and left to work for around 20–30 minutes.
- A fine plasma arc is applied to the lesion — a series of tiny controlled points, no scalpel and no stitches.
- Small carbon crusts form immediately; these are the treated tissue lifting away.
- A protective balm is applied and full aftercare is explained before you leave.
Safety notes & contraindications
- Consultation and patch assessment are mandatory before any fibroblast treatment.
- Never used on moles or any changing, bleeding or irregular lesion — those go to your GP or a dermatologist.
- Not suitable if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a pacemaker or metal implants in the area, active cold sores, keloid scarring history, uncontrolled diabetes, autoimmune conditions affecting healing, or are on Roaccutane within the last 12 months.
- Darker skin tones carry a higher risk of temporary pigment change; this is discussed honestly at consultation.
- Sun exposure before and after treatment significantly increases pigmentation risk.
Aftercare
- Keep the area completely dry for 48 hours — no swimming, sauna or steam.
- Do not pick the carbon crusts; they fall away naturally in 5–10 days.
- Apply the recommended balm thinly, with clean hands only.
- No make-up over the area until the crusts have gone.
- SPF50 on the healed skin daily for at least three months.
FAQs
- Does it hurt?
- It may be a little uncomfortable. Numbing cream is applied first, and most people then describe a warm pinprick sensation. Sessions are short — each point takes a minute or two depending on its size.
- How many sessions will I need?
- Most skin tags and small blemishes clear in one session. Larger or stubborn lesions may need a review at 6–8 weeks.
- Will it scar?
- Fibroblast is precise and non-surgical, so scarring is rare when aftercare is followed. Picking crusts is the main cause of marking.
- What is the downtime?
- You can go straight back to normal life. Expect small dark crusts for around a week and pinkness for a few weeks after.
